Constructed from large chunks of cotton wood bark, Rays of Renewal is built upon a previous design, a foundation that was already set. The lopsided rays are a culmination of winters past, one side longer than its counter, mirrored in height and width. The column in the center is a chamber for the grass to grow toward the sun. It marks the feeling of going backwards, when we’re actually moving ahead.
