apple spur no.2

apple spur no.3
Spurs of green. Birthed in gnarled knobs. Open the door to fruit for the queen.
Found in an area that was originally planted for fruit production in the late 1800’s, these robust apple trees have proven to endure the forces of nature by withstanding disease and environmental stressors of a semiarid climate. Apple trees must be two years old before producing spurs. The spurs grow slowly, adding a slightly larger shoot to the side of each branch year after year. Blossoms, associated with the spurs, are high sources of antioxidants and adaptogens, known to relieve stress and calm nerves.
