Juneberry trees are native to temperate regions. They can form as small trees or multi-stemmed shrubs. During spring, juneberry trees have vibrant white flowers that quickly transform to fruit, showcasing the passage of time. In summertime, they are known for bearing pome fruits, which are a favorite for birds, deer, and humans alike. The berries have a sweet, blueberry and almond-like taste, perfect for baked goods. The dense, brown juneberry wood was used to make arrow shafts and body armor.
