Esoterra Culinary Garden

Nature of the nest

From blue herons to hawks, kestrels to hummingbirds, a wide variety of winged visitors frequent Esoterra Culinary Garden. Whether soaring above or making a pit stop in the field, birds play an essential role here—pollinating plants, controlling pests, and, most importantly, offering moments of pause to appreciate nature’s beauty.

Nature of The Nest is composed of discarded tree prunings and plant matter gathered from the farm. Callie arranged dozens of branches in a spiral form, creating a nest-like structure for neighboring wildlife. The installation is a tribute to beauty - one that has a permanent home at Esoterra. It was featured at an Outstanding in the Field dinner.
